Walking I get. But power walking? Why not just run for a shorter time?

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Any bets on how long Oliver can keep popping over to Central City for playdates with this kid before someone like Savage or the League of Assassins puts two and two together and fridges him?

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I didn't get the promo for the next ep of Arrow last night, but it's available online nonetheless: [link]

Raise your hand if you're surprised at the development.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Only a bit, because there were a bunch of interviews this summer where they said they weren't going to do that so much anymore.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Oliver? Yes, he is.

Co-signed.

Dang, maybe THAT'S who's in the grave. Would they do that? I mean, they killed Moira in front of Ollie, but a kid is a whole different level of horrificness.

Yeah, either the kid or his mother are in my top three for who's in the grave.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I picked the kid's mother as being the one in the grave after the premiere.

The fact that they made them NOT be Sandra and Connor Hawke has me thinking even more that one of them is in the grave.

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

I commented on my own LJ yesterday morning ( NERD ) to get my prediction of William in the grave in writing.

Given the preview for next week (OMG THAT PREVIEW; I AM NOT OKAY) Darhk would absolutely go there when he finds out about the kid. And you know that he will. (maybe before Felicity, though I hope the writers do better by that story line).

Felicity's "If you loved me you wouldn't...." was actually the bad trope-y writing that I hated the most. Were they being lazy because that was going to get a reset anyway? Sigh.

Oliver should absolutely lie to the baby mama over Felicity, but I think all he knows from Barry's description of the alternate timeline is that Felicity breaks up with him when she hears about the kid (not that it was really about not trusting her with the info). So I think that's what he's afraid of.

On another topic: I missed the importance of the gauntlet things with the magical scepter of doom. Oliver didn't have them, so how was he helping to dust Savage when he teams up with Barry?

Compassionately intolerant

Dear Haven, Ours has been an on-again/off-again relationship, I know.

I admired a lot about you, appreciated some of your character(istic)s, laughed at your jokes and felt that you had a good heart.

I struggled with what seemed like too many unnecessary "it's complicated"s, and a tendency toward shallowness that undermined the stuff that was really good about you.

Tonight though. That parting shot?

I'm done. And so sad that our relationship will have no satisfactory conclusion. Shame on you.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Maybe The Green Arrow was holding hands with The Flash.

Er, or I should say Green Arrow was on top.

I think I had better stop there or the innuendo police will come.

Er, show up, I mean.
