I said I'm sorry. I've made mistakes, but fear was never one of them.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Side note for Supergirl - you do not have to breathe. Stop letting villains choke you. It's psychosomatic.

I think current DCU Kryptonians still have to breathe, though obviously Superman was able to hold his breath in hard vacuum for several minutes without any difficulty. I suppose they could still be choked out by having the blood flow through their carotid arteries cut off, but that should be easier said than done to someone who can take an anti-tank missile in the face without significant injury.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Yeah, the last time I recall Superman casually flying through space without a life support system of some kind was on Lois and Clark (where he was also speaking into a headset communicator, nearly promoting my own head to explode).

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

I was shocked Team Arrow brought both Kendra and then Carter into the Arrow Cave and let them see them all with their masks off.

THIS. I yelled at the TV.

Also, WTF with Malcolm (and apparently the entire League) just randomly showing up in the Arrow Cave?!

But I also squeed at the lovely Olicity moments. I AM NOT READY FOR TONIGHT, GUYS.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Yeah, but it set Barry up for the second-best line of the episode. (The best line was also Barry's, when he referred to Damien Darhk as "Flock of Seagulls." I barked with laughter.)

Darhk's reaction to Barry ("...What was THAT?") -- once again showing that McDonough is having WAY too much fun with this character. Hee.

I wish I liked wine, because I think I'ma need it tonight. (People tweeting that Amell gives his best dramatic performance. I just can't with that man's face.)

Seriously? Oh man, it's gonna involve his kid, isn't it?

(Also -- LESS THAN 3 HOURS.)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Is this the episode that the grave scene from the first episode will be in? Because I really don't have a good feeling about all the close calls that Thea has had lately.

I don't think so, because the text on screen said "Six months later," and we haven't hit that point yet.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

The promo for the ep tonight flashed on Felicity's face at "...blah blah, beneath the body of your loved ones", like, I SEE WHAT YOU ARE DOING, PROMO MONKEYS

I thought the Flash ep was a bit too "let's get all the chess pieces in line for the spin-off!" but enjoyed it nonetheless. I'm not too keen on the Vandal Savage actor though.
