Harmony: Somebody remembered to pick me up the sweetest unicorn. Guess someone was feeling guilty for standing me up in tenth grade. Brad: What? Had to get her something. She sired me. Peaches: Sire-whipped.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

OUAT has the most magical thing ever! A jukebox that plays Yaz! Please tell me Henry is about to get his new wave look on! Can't you just imagine him with a 1984 Howard Jones look?

OK, and I just actually got to that. I'm guessing if that actually happened someone would have mentioned...but the magical jukebox is pretty magical.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm binge watching Gotham today. The actor playing young Bruce Wayne would be great as young Emperor Gregor Vorbarra if they ever made a movie of Bujold's Vorkosigan books.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

As an actor I think he is OK. But I am so over the portrayal of smart, traumatized people (plus aliens) speaking very [beat] very [beat] slowly, [beat] pausing [beat] between[each] word. It was somewhat fresh when Leonard Nimoy did it, and he could carry it off. A few others can. But most actors, IMO even most good actors, don't really do SpockTalk that well.

I like that, Calli. I think I see what you mean.

I just finished episode 11, and Ben Mackenzie is really doing a great job with his role at this point. I'm not sure what happened--new writer or director or something--but it feels like the show's leveled up in the last couple of episodes.

It's getting interesting. I'm not too into the monks and the discredited family angle, but some good stuff is going on.

Why didn't anyone tell me Perd was on Supergirl?

I love hearing his delivery on so many shows.

Ding dong! The Witch is dead. (Guess which show I just caught up on.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Why didn't anyone tell me Perd was on Supergirl?

Sorry! Too delighted to remember to share my unadulterated joy!
