Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Hm. Maybe? Where does it start on Hulu, maybe you can just jump in

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Hulu only has eps 9-13, so it would be just the end.

Mm, that wouldn't work, then.

Tough call. I like it, it gets stronger as it goes on, but I can't say with confidence that it's worth $2/episode.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I think the previouslies fill you in on most of what you'd need to know from the first couple of episodes.

Plot-wise, yes, but character development is pretty important to this show and I wouldn't want to say how much of that could be skipped.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Jessica, it was just renewed for a second season along with Killjoys if that affects your decision at all.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yay for Killjoys! I still have to watch the finale.

Yay renewals! I t heart Killjoys and think Dark Matter has set itself up well for an interesting 2nd season.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yay! I enjoy both shows but haven't watched more than the first four episodes of either.

I have to empty the DVR before I can cancel cable. Methinks subconsciously I don't really want to cancel cable, because I keep recording stuff and not watching it.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Sleepy Hollow promo pics show Ichabod with a haircut!

Which kind of ruins my plans for Tim and I to go as Ichabod and Hot Topic Katrina for Halloween, because now Tim's hair is WAY too long. Although, yes, we could just be S1 Ichabod and Katrina. (And what I *really* want is for Tim to go as skinny jeans!Ichabod. Maximum hilarity.) (It's a little appalling how much of a Hot Topic Katrina costume I can cobble together out of my closet. All I would really need to buy is a long red wig and a foofy blouse.)
