A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Defiance: my basic frustration with this show is that the aliens are mostly (all? Some of the ones we don't see much of might not be) just caricatures of humans. Which is probably deliberate, but not at all appealing to me.
They really fucked up with the whole Omec storyline. It's too bad, that could have been interesting.
I am still interested in the whole people who have done terrible things can still be good people theme they have going on, I guess. Although said people often weren't in control of choosing to do the terrible things which reduces the power of the concept considerably.
Definitely not the show I hoped it would be when it started. Oh well.
Unrelatedly - I do not know anything about The Expanse. Should I do something about that? I can't tell from the ads if it's up my alley or not.
That was pretty series finale-ish.
It hasn't been renewed yet, but it hasn't been cancelled yet either.
That makes sense. From how the episode ended, that is.
If it does get cancelled, that was a pretty good finale. It's also the one show in this thread I'm currently caught up on. I'm several episodes behind on everything else.
Totally works as a finale, though I can see at least a couple of ways they could go if it does come back that would satisfy me.

The books are AWESOME, so I will be giving the show a chance no matter what. The tone of the trailers doesn't quite match what I would have chosen to highlight, but I'm pretty excited regardless. (They've brought in at least one character right away who doesn't appear until book 2, but that's fine because she is my favorite. Plus Jonathan Banks is in it, which is always a good sign.)
Was the most recent Doctor Who discussed here? I just finished it on Netflix. I've tried to go back and find the discussion but I don't really know when it aired.
And I keep running into ita's posts and get too sad to keep looking.
