A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I just assumed that before they took her to Alison's they swung by Felix's for Helena to collect her things and that was one of her things.
Michelle Forbes was a "Topside" person, yes? My guess is Dr. Duncan is more or less head of Topside.
And that's just how Helena and Donnie roll. Well, Helena. Donnie, I would guess, is blocking out that whole episode pretty hard.
Michelle Forbes is the actress, her part was Dr. Marian Bowles, and last time we saw her she was introducing Sarah to her daughter, Charlotte, in the last episode of Season 2.
Then in the last episode of Season 3, Charlotte tells Rachel that Rachel will be her new mommy. So what happened to Dr. Bowles?
In case you have missed it, the BBCA Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell was great (and still available on demand). It diverged from the book as little as possible, mostly in places where the differences between video and the written word demanded it; IMO it was very faithful to the spirit. I find myself speculating that one change that appears minor may result in a major divergence when the second volume comes out. If my speculations are right, a sequel from the same network may have to do backflips to restore a seemingly unimportant subconflict they eliminated.

It really was! I'm thinking of going back and giving the book another go. And I really want a sequel!
I have it all recorded and waiting for a binge watch! This weekend, hopefully.
I've decided to cancel cable at the end of next month, so I have a few weeks to watch everything I still have on the DVR before the box goes away.
I gave it three episodes and it didn't grab me. Which is disappointing, because it's right up my alley.
I was recording it, but I never read the book and I don't think I will anytime in the near future. So, I erased it. If I ever get around to the book, maybe it will be available on netflix or hulu.
I really liked it. I also really liked the book.
Yeah, I really liked the book. Then again, I enjoyed the travelogues and extensive descriptions of scenery in the Hobbit and Lord of the Ring books.
