Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Defiance:

OK, Datak Tarr's redemption was pretty convincing. That was indeed some gangsta action.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Although the finale seems like one heck of a reboot. The just killed off the Season 1 protagonist and big bad,and froze most of the other characters we are following. I assume they will get defrosted pretty quickly if there is a season 2. I admit Pam is most interesting character in the show, and played by one of the best actors, so as long as they defrost her quickly I will give season 2 a shot if it happens. The big bad was also played by a good actor, but was not such an interesting character to me.

It was planned and written as a one off, but I suppose if the ratings were good, Fox might try for a second season.

I haven't seen the episode yet, but I'm having trouble believing this. Can't stand Datak.

I think Geeks Who Drink is kind of boring, but I want to like it.

It's a little boring, but the little games are not bad. It could find its feet.

There's too much in the way of Datak flashbacks, but the actual redemptive act is pretty good.

The first episode of Reactor was fun, but I haven't seen this week's yet.

I don't like the ads for that one, don't really get what it is.

Killjoys: I kinda love the little pattern I'm seeing of women drugging men to use their bodies to get through biometric security. Also, the "assholes are necessary" speech.

-t it's a recap of the week of scifi TV and movies. Sort of like the Wil Wheaton Show was but with a new host.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

There is (or was) a Wil Weaton show?
