A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Charlie Jade,
I'll definitely have to give that show a second episode or three. My first thought was that the budget did it in. Okay (old) pilot, my biggest complaint is that it is very hard to see, no matter the verse.
More currently "Hello, Dad" !!! Jenny is made of so much win.
grits.
Freema f***ing knocked it out of the park when she lost her Hath friend (although part of me is pissed that she didn't jump back in to save him/her, and then we could get a comedic sequence of them jumping in to save each other until the most tired one finally dies). I still think that DW hits the dark horrific notes more better than Torchwood. I can't explain it, but I'm always affected more by DW on a weekly basis than I am with the TW characters and stories per season. It seems like when DW sets out to create AWESOME CHARACTER, they actually succeed. And when they set out to RIP YOUR HEART OUT, they succeed, whereas TW seems kinda meh even on it's best days. I dunno, just an overall impression of enjoyment and investment with not a lot of thought behind it beyond "this is what I've been thinking since TW first aired (even when it was good)".

Isn't she? Her name is Georgia Moffett.
And that line is very meta, too. IRL, she's the daughter of Peter Davison, Doctor #5. (Born Peter Moffett, hence the last name).
And and this might raise a few eyebrows: She's dating David Tennant.
David Tennant is dating his Doctor Who co-star Georgia Moffett, reports say. The Scottish actor was spotted leaving his home with 23-year-old Moffett, who plays his on-screen daughter on the cult BBC show, over the weekend. A friend of Moffett said: "They have been going out together for a while now but meet up at each other's house so as to avoid being spotted by Who fans.
what happened to him and Sophia?
I thought they broke up a season or so ago. As for that other tidbit, hmmm, I'm trying to avoid icky character incest vibes (on multiple show/RL levels), as well as Ford/Flockhart vibes.
"JUMP!!!!" still isn't any less awesome for seeing it the second and third time.
I don't trust these Elosha visions during the jump. Whatever I think of Roslin at her worst moments, this isn't it.
