And we live to fight another day.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The i-am-caught-up reaction dump:

Gotham - Fish fuckin’ Mooney! Woo! She is relaxed. And done with your vexing bullshit. No way she’s dead, right? Right?

Barbara is super creepy, but she got way less scary once she picked up the knife.

Poor Butch.

Nygma has not gotten more interesting. Maybe next season.

I don’t know how I feel about Papa Wayne having a cave.

The Flash - So that’s Grodd. Well, okay then. Works for me.

So glad the “we can’t tell Iris” phase is over. Maybe the little bits of her character I enjoy will take over.

iZombie

“I can’t talk about Fight Club” so perfect.

Oh, man, so worried about all the characters now!

Arrow

WTF Arrow? What are you doing to me?

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

This season of Arrow has been pretty disappointing. It's like they knew they wanted Laurel to become Black Canary and Thea to become Speedy, but couldn't really figure out how to get there.

Forever has been cancelled

At least they gave it a full season. That was a well-written show. Maybe there's good fanfic.

But sigh.

Sleepy Hollow, no!

I like the iZombie detective. Blaine saying liv has her role to play concerns me more than Lowell being his customer. Was she strategically scratched? Poor Jerome. Maybe Liv will tell Major the truth (assuming she gets away from the elevator, of course). Pretty much everythings pales in comparison to Ravi getting bit. I am pinning all my hope of Vonnie's conjecture that a rat bite won't zombify him.

People, I am watching commercials.

Dude!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Sorry about Forever. I really liked that show, especially the Henry and Abe relationship.

Yes! I would to have seen the discussion when Henry told Abe the truth. I loved that the mystery of Abigail wasn't drawn through the entire series, and that Abe kept Henry's research.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I am pinning all my hope of Vonnie's conjecture that a rat bite won't zombify him.

I feel like Ravi fills such an important role on the show as the connection between Liv's zombie identity and her humanity/rest of the world that, making him a zombie would do an irreparable damage to the delicate interpersonal dynamics on the show.

Also, I don't want him to become a zombie! He is my favourite! *breathes into a bag*

Seriously, those last 2 minutes of the episode were masterful. The juxtaposition of Liv's hopes and dreams in the voice-over with everything and everyone in her life going totally pear-shaped -- that was some thrilling stuff. I loved that the ep went to the black screen as the elevator door started to open. What a perfect ending.

Totally. Not to mention, can't have the morgue entirely staffed with zombies, that would be ridiculous. Or one shift. The only one we see, so, might as well be the whole shebang.

Also, I don't want him to become a zombie! He is my favourite!

And also this.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Maybe there's good fanfic.

Here's one. Post finale, Abe POV. [link]

Compassionately intolerant

I totally agree with -t agreeing with Vonnie!

No Raviombie. No not at all, Show.
