It's like, in the middle of all this, I'm paranoid that you'll think I don't like poetry.

Buffy ,'Empty Places'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Art Crawl!!!

A writer from c.s.i. will now be writing for Reaper.

Apparently, Reaper also has a former L&O:SVU staffer.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Jessica, I was replying to WindSparrow and I never said that the show should be given a pass for anything.

I was just saying that it was a fun action show and it was too bad that the ad that some saw as sexist kept a couple people from enjoying the show.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Apparently, Reaper also has a former L&O:SVU staffer.

The creators for Reaper, Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas, were staff writers for L&O:SVU for several years. They were possibly the best writers that show ever had. And that's all I have to say about my sad and embarrassing L&O:SVU addiction (now thankfully in the past.)

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I remember Michelle Fazekas, because before she wrote for L&O she was a peon for The X-Files, and as with all good peons she got a character named after her.

Which is good, because now I've heard how it's pronounced, because it's one of those names that, looking at it, I'd be hard-pressed to guess where the emphasis goes.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

It's getting scary in here...

We're Buffistas. We can go from in-depth feminist deconstruction to salad shooters in an instant. Best to stay on your toes.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Yep - sorry, mate, but that's how it rolls in these parts. Could segue (further) into tentacle porn next, or dart over to Keats, or corsets, or cookie recipes, or math humour, or the ever-popular debate about the virtues of the serial comma. Most of the time courtesy reigns, though, even if people disagree about things.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Over-intellectualizing pretty much everything including publicity posters is what we do, but do bear in mind that the community as a whole abhors the usual Internet Argument Special Olympics. So whereas I might pick apart the way some shoe laces are tied, I won't pick you apart even if that happens to be your favorite way to tie shoelaces.

Alpha-bits.

Somebody get a zombie over here quick, because this:

Could segue (further) into tentacle porn next, or dart over to Keats,
has now put me in mind of RPS with Keats and tentacles.

Not enough brain bleach in the world, nothing for it but to have my brain eaten before it gets contagious.
