'Why We Fight'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I really wanted there to be another twist in there to, which the Wells not being Wells sort of satisfied. It just seemed silly to me to reveal to us so early that he was up to no good.

I'm glad that Wells as Reverse Flash is out in the open considering they confirmed that to the audience way back before the winter finale. But I do feel like there should have been an additional twist or something. Wells not being Wells doesn't really mean anything to us since we never new original Wells to care that much about him.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

IDK, Lost Girl. I wanted to give you a fair shake without Kenzi, but that was pretty weak.

I haven't watched yet, but I was hoping just because Kenzi left didn't mean she was off the show. The show is all about Kenzi for me.

Lost Girl:

So, really no Kenzie? I'm sad.

Lauren has one self defense session and can throw a syringe like that?

Also, I guess I wasn't paying much attention. Who was the blonde at the end?

She just has to throw from her gut, whatever that means. What I don't understand is how the syringe injected anything into his neck with no one depressing the plunger.

Oh, that was the dead human from the mysterious elevator incident in the beginning, I think. Where they had 3 bodies but 4 blood types and hadn't been able to identify the one that didn't go with any bodies. I'm interested in where they are going with that, although the big arc-y questions have not paid off very well for me on this show.

Bah, and hell yes on the second point.

Thanks! I was only half watching at the beginning.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I was behind on iZombie for a while, but caught up last night. I like that shit is getting pretty real, like seeing how zombie!police captain (lieutenant? I disremember) used the kidnappers as a cover for all the missing kids. And I'm pretty sure he knows Liv is a zombie, after he noticed her leg wound. (Although he had to have noticed before, since she's the only zombie who doesn't bother to get a tan or dye her hair. Which reminds me -- does the captain [lieutenant?] seriously dye his hair salt-and-pepper? That must be REALLY difficult.)

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

And I'm pretty sure he knows Liv is a zombie, after he noticed her leg wound.

Yep! Really interested in what his deal is.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

So, my very first thought when I read this news was "I'm glad ita's not alive to see this."
