I don't think we actually saw doppelganger's hand go vibrate-y - just threatening it with the hand position. And they showed in the previouslies (or flashbacks?) when Iris touched Barry's hand when he was comatose there was the same little electric-y reaction.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I think you're right, but that whole switching out thing confused me. For one, fake!Wells knew enough about Barry's mom's murder and the time-travel aspect to give Cisco a perfectly evasive answer. I guess you could say real!Wells was on an earpiece with him feeding him lines in real time, but I don't remember them showing that.
The other thing that bugged me was that apparently Cisco's barrier was only proof against speedsters, but ordinary people could just walk through them. Which is a weird design-limitation. I mean with technology like that they could have just set up a fake barrier anywhere to prove that Wells was a Speedster. First time I watched the scene, I actually thought Wells had phased through the barrier, because he was a better at phasing through stuff then Barry.
Yeah, I had a similar issue. It's going to keep a speedster out, but not a speeding bullet?
I wondered if Barry creating a vacuum to extinguish the fire wouldn't also collapse people's lungs. I know humans can survive without air, but a vacuum isn't *just* the absence of air.
...right?
I also wonder if any of them will look back on the fact that Wells insistence on caging the metas at Star Labs basically gave him an army of evil to draft recruits from.
Also, is the Pied Piper still in the hole? Because he might be willing to help against Wells.

Gives a new meaning to hand-waving...
Steph, I think that there would probably some injury, but not so much because of the short duration, and also still a better alternative than breathing superheated gases and smoke.
Jon, for the win...
Brief vacuum exposure doesn't seem to have any lasting negative consequences for people, although it will knock you unconscious PDQ.

Pied Piper broke out because he convinced Cisco that he had useful information, but he would only share it if Cisco took him...somewhere. I can't remember. And then he got away. I think.
