iZombie: In the first episode Liv buys a bunch of self tanner implying that she is trying to look like she's not a zombie so why doesn't she wear brighter make-up? Especially lipstick.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I'm intrigued by the implications raised in the scene at STAR Labs, when Cisco realized that Deathbolt wasn't in Central City when the particle accelerator went kaboom.
I got a kick out of Ray asking how the metahuman inmates handle basic biological functions (meaning the writers at least acknowledge it's a legitimate question) before Cisco derailed it with the not in Central City revelation.
Also, normally I like Lance a lot, but I so wanted Ollie to punch him when we thought Roy was dead and he was being a dick about it.
Quentin's behavior is totally in character, but WOW, is it making me dislike him, which has never happened before. It makes me wonder if he has a big you-were-right-I-was-wrong redemptive death scene coming up. (I hope not!)
As if there weren't enough reasons to hate Laurel already, I just realized this whole mess is her fault. She was the one that insisted on keeping Sara's death a secret, despite urgings from Oliver that Quentin deserved to know.
Quentin's line to Oliver about whose fault Roy's "death" was, well it was beyond dick-ish. Forget about the foreseeability of putting fake!Arrow in with all the perps he busted, but after the first attack has nobody heard of protective custody*?
- Apparently not. Just learned from the internet that when Quentin was in prison in Season ?, Laurel said there's no such thing as protective custody in Iron Heights. Also learned that Iron Heights is the same prison on both Flash and Arrow. So Henry Allen could have had lunch with Roy or something.

Agreed. But I feel like Quentin's been super over-reacting to the Sara thing. I know Quentin blames the Arrow for Sara's death, but it feels like they just stepped Quentin's character back to Season 1 erasing the whole Season 2 progression of Quentin and Arrow working together and trusting each other. I would buy the whole thing more if this was a new Quentin, who acknowledges the good things Arrow has done for the city, but undermines vigilantism on principled grounds. Maybe he wouldn't be as petulant. I don't know.
I don't know if he's overreacting, exactly. That was fucked up how they not only didn't tell him but actively lied that Sara was out there.
Directing his justified anger towards inappropriate targets I'd buy. But I'm sure he feels better about being pissed at the Arrow/Oliver (especially considering Sara's first "death") than at Laurel, to whatever degree he can.
I keep thinking bee girl is Penelope Garcia from the back.
Since they really didn't show her very closely, I was sure it was Kristen Bell...
Orphan Black is back tonight! I can't wait.
Ditto that, sj.
Oh, and the final season of Lost Girl started last night, in case anyone missed it. I haven't watched the episode yet.
