A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I would definitely not characterize that character as a Manic Pixie.

Word.

Unfortunately, Forever is likely to be cancelled, which I find sad. All sorts of interesting plotlines going on, though they're trying to push a romance between Dr. Henry and Jo the cop.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I like zombies, and I like iZombie a LOT so far...

...But Major? As a name? NO. I keep hearing "We named the DOG Indiana!"

Major is something you name your German Shepard.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Major is something you name your German Shepard.

Or a character in Catch-22.

The Major Major bit in Catch-22 is one of the first times I remember laughing out loud at a book for an extended period. I was youngish when I read the book, and I remember thinking how funny I must look/sound. Except I was alone.

Also, I am behind on iZombie but liked the first two eps. I find the lead charming.

Major Major!

I've known two Sergeants. One was a lady!

I like Major.

I would expect the brains to squik me but, in this context, I don't mind. I'm just dying to know what they are actually eating. Sea urchin would not be practical so I'm guessing gelatin of some sort.

I have NEVER enjoyed zombies before. Never eve seen Shaun of The Dead. But this, I like a lot.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

The brains look like shrimps to me, especially when broken apart. So when Liv is munching on them, sometimes I go, "mmmm, shrimps with pasta. I'm hungry."

As for Major Lilywhite (yes, that's his actual last name), I figured it's just the writers having fun with ridiculous names. I mean, Liv Moore is not exactly subtle either. Making Ravi Major's new roommate was a brilliant move, I thought. People from Liv's old life have mostly circled the periphery of relevance so far, but this brings Major closer to the action. Also, the Ravi actor is made of magic and has chemistry with everyone. I might be crushing on him a tad.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Anyone remember In Plain Sight ? There was a character I really liked, a US Marshall named Marshall Mann, so he was Marshall Marshall Mann. It was a running joke on the series. I usually don't like "joke" names but that one cracked me up. Major Lilywhite is just dumb enough to be funny, to me.

Zombies are gross and scary, but this one is not bothering me.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Aw, I loved Marshal Marshall.

I loved Marshall Mann. My all time favorite.
