Can't any one of your damn little Scooby club at least try to remember that I hate you all?

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The lead character loves to chow down on brains, and they're not afraid to show it. Not a lot of blood and guts so far, though.

That is what I was afraid of. The brains=spaghetti promo pic is difficult for me to look at. Fake blood doesn't bother me as much. I'll probably still watch but look away at certain times.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

The brains=spaghetti promo pic is difficult for me to look at.

She heats up the noodles (without brains) in the microwave before adding the brains [this is a weird sentence to type], so when you see that, that's your warning to look away.

(I am not easily grossed out, but we were eating dinner while it was on, and that was unfortunate timing.)

Thanks!

We have a list of shows that we do not watch with dinner, even when I'm not pregnant.

Hey. New board.

iZombie!!!

I am reminded of when I watched the pilot of Bunheads and was all "wow this really is basically Gilmore Girls, huh? That's nice I missed that show." only the feeling is for Veronica Mars with the good bits of Dead Like Me and I am HAPPY, you guys.

iZombie was good fun. I looked away at the noodle brain... heh... scene in plenty of time not to be grossed out, and that was all that I felt the need to avoid.

Yet Hannibal rarely makes me look away. What the hell? He's eating people parts, too. All hail art direction and cinematography, I guess.

Ha! Yeah.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I feel basically the same way about Jane The Virgin.

Hey. New board.

I haven't seen it yet - it's on my "try it!" list but Season 2 of Orphan Black just came on Amazon Prime, and GoT starts soon, so it's unlikely to hit the top of my queue before summer brings more infinite free time. It reminds you of Gilmore Girls or something else? Because Bunheads really was "Gilmore Girls in California instead of New England, with Sutton Foster channeling Lorelai and a whole group of Rorys." Same soundtrack, same supporting cast, same rapid-fire dialogue... really, same show.

This is a recommendation, by the way. I was very sad when it did not get a second season.

Reminds me of Gilmore Girls. Jane is more like Rory than Xiomara and Abuelita are like Lorelai or Emily, but the family structure is similar enough to feel very familiar.
