Nitpicking The Flash. Central City isn't a coastal city. It's in the middle of the country (thus Central City and not Coast City) and across the river from Keystone. There's been a couple of times (like tonight) when they've shown it to be on the ocean, and it bugs.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Could it be a great lake?
I guess all screenwriters live on the coasts and can't imagine anything interesting going on away from them? You'd think someone with weather powers wouldn't be super-dependent on having open water to cause destruction. And Flash has done the reverse spin thing to dissipate tornadoes in the comics.
I'm also wondering how much thought goes into the decision to level a city with a tsunami to get revenge on one person. I mean, seems to me that's the sort of thing that could get the OK for cruise missiles to be launched at the block you're standing on the next time you show your face anywhere.

"We had to destroy the village in order to save it."
“We didn’t even script that [Cisco] cries; it was a notion that Tom and Carlos worked out where the minute Tom walks into the room, Carlos knows he’s going to die. It wasn’t even something we intended, it’s what they brought to it.”
I read that in the comments on the AV Club's review (slow work day for me)! That impresses the hell out of me. Apparently a lot of people hate Cisco, but I like him. And Tom Cavanaugh has been fangoddamntastic since day 1. Dr. Wells is like the Mayor in BTVS -- sure, he's evil, but he's ridiculously compelling and just a joy to watch.
Not on, Flash! I'm not at all happy about Cisco.

Eh, he doesn't do anything for me. Probably my own issues in that I just can't deal with a character who is faking a disability.
Also, I kind of hate the big reveal followed by it never happened because the timeline has been changed.
Sleepy Hollow has been renewed! It also has a new showrunner, Clifton Campbell, whose previous work includes White Collar and The Glades.

Excellent!
