I'm all up in the law now, but damn it feels good to get my violence on.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Thea still doesn't know she killed Sara.

That's the biggie. When Thea yelled at Merlyn for keeping the fact that Oliver = Arrow from her, I was all, "oh sweetie. You better save some of that rage because the biggest shit has yet to hit the fan."

Re. The Flash. Does Stein remember that Wells totally drugged his Scotch and left him to be carted off to Eiling's super-secret base? He didn't act like it afterward. Although in the promo for the next ep (which is a whole month away, like what the hell, people), it looks like things come to head anyways re. Wells' secret.

Also: if they're gonna do time travel, they should REALLY go for it and have Barry save his mother, with the fallout being that he never becomes The Flash and Central City turns into some kind of dystopian version of itself as the consequence. Hell, make it into a half season-long AU arc like Fringe did! That would tickle me pink.

Yeah, I wonder if they're going to gloss over that, or if it'll come back.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Doesn't being knocked out usually fuzz up the memories immediately preceding unconsciousness? Stein was already collapsing by the time he realized anything was going on.

Man, why can't flashback!Ollie get a haircut???

Ollie and Thea fighting Slade was DEEPLY satisfying.

Holy shit. I can't believe Oliver told Thea about Sara. I have been complaining about these damn secrets for months, and now it's all out in the open in the span of two episodes!

Yeppers. As was Thea telling Malcolm off at the end. And there being actual consequences from Laurel keeping that secret from Quentin.

D'aww, OH TOMMY. Also, hello there Marc Singer! That's an interesting development.

I was SO HAPPY about that.

D'aww, OH TOMMY.

I love every single chance they get to have him back. And it's really amusing to note that in that one tiny scene at the end, Laurel had more chemistry than she ever, EVER had with Ollie.

Also, hello there Marc Singer! That's an interesting development.

I really wanted that to be General Eiling from The Flash, but presumably 5 years ago he was busy tinkering with telepathic gorillas with Dr. Wells.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Oh, I found the "Sympathy for the Devil" cover from Sleepy Hollow--it's by the Hampton String Quartet. I think they added in some extra percussion on the show, but it's still a cool-sounding track.
