Katia Winter on playing a character nobody likes.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I don't know if Gotham is getting better or if I am learning how best to tilt my head when I watch it, but it's really growing on me. Flying Graysons!
Flash: HOLY SHIT. This show is balls-out crazy, in the best possible ways.
I'm just hoping next week will be the end of Katrina. I'm so glad they finally took her evil, but the way it was handled felt way too abrupt and unearned. IMHO they could've easily made her Secretly Evil All Along--like, maybe she'd magicked Ichabod into falling in love with her way back when in order to have a Witness under her coven's power, and/or to keep him away from whoever would've been the other Witness in the 18th century and thereby bring about the apocalypse. Or they could've done more with the fact she consciously experienced those two centuries in Purgatory, during which time she'd have plenty of time to grow bitter and resentful and rethink her choices--especially when her husband spent the same time basically asleep, and woke up to a world of blue skies, allies, fun technology, and yummy donut holes shared with his Biblical Life Partner.
I was spoiled that Abbie would be going back in time, and I wish I hadn't been (even though I'm normally a complete spoiler slut) because I loved that whole sequence and figure it would've been even cooler as a surprise.

Totally. In fact, for a while last night I thought she was double-crossing Henry, because it just didn't seem plausible she'd go bad all of a sudden.

Oh my god, the callback to the pilot, and "Sympathy for the Devil" -- BRILLIANT.
I so hope they make acoustic retro "Sympathy for the Devil" available on iTunes.
Whee Sleepy Hollow! Embrace the crack! That was glorious.

No kidding.
Not god...
I really wanted the voice actor for Grodd to be the same as from the animated JLU, but that didn't sound like him. Still, GRODD!
Sleepy Hollow! Embrace the crack!
My wildest hope is that they pull a Fringe and spend several episodes swapping timelines.
