A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
My Flash theory:
Wells is one of the later Reverse-Flashes: Hunter Zolomon or "Zoom". His whole bit was making Wally West a better hero by forcing him to experience adversity and tragedy. He was also paralyzed by Gorilla Grodd in the comics, but, you know, different continuity in all. I mean, there's the paralyzed part...anyway, Zoom hasn't shown up since Flashpoint, but it seems to fit.
The other Reverse-Flash, the one that killed Barry's mom, is Eobard Thawne, possibly a grandkid or great-grandkid of Eddie Thawne. Or Eddie has been Eobard the whole time...that could be cool.
Anyway, that's my theory.
KARAOKE OMG YES MOAR.
YES PLEASE
I believe I have sung along with that chanty over Guinness. As one does.
Cop Daddy and Thea need to start the All My Loved Ones Lie To Me ALL THE TIME support group.
ALSO THIS PLEASE
Oof, Dana.
For the first half of this episode I was really pleased with how not-that-skilled Laurel was at being Canary and sincerely thought she was gonna bail (and not deliberately make her father think Sarah is still alive, so cruel!). Very disappointed they went the other way. Use your powers for good, Felicity, not this.
my favorite moment was Diggle's "What the HELL, Laurel?!?" You speak for all of us, Diggle.
At least she mostly got her ass kicked. And what she's doing to her dad is kind of beyond the pale.
And what she's doing to her dad is kind of beyond the pale.
Here is what I hope happens: Cop Daddy finds out Sarah is dead AND that Laurel has been lying to him about it, and busts out with a whole "You respect me THAT little?!? GTFO now." line to Laurel. I really hope the show doesn't take the cheap way out and really give him a heart attack. That would be weak as hell. But they haven't been using him much this season, so I'm afraid that's what they're going to do.
Maybe having Laurel show her self to be as bad a decision maker as Oliver is the shows way of trying to sell us on the pairing. It is not working.
I can't decide if Laurel is a worse crimefighter, a worse daughter, or a worse DA.
How about just the worst?
I'm trying to figure out what she is the most worst at.
I have to come in here and glee-cackle about one of my co-workers who recently got into Doctor Who. He and his wife caught last year's Christmas special (Matt Smith's last one) and then went back and watched the Matt Smith run. Now, they're going to go back and watch from Eccleston forward
They were both big fans of River. I cannot wait until they get to Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead.
Cannot. Wait.
That is pure evil. In the best way possible.
