A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Yay, people to talk Sleepy Hollow with!
So, was Katrina lying to Irving because she wants to use him as a connection to get to Henry?
That was my assumption, and I was kinda surprised to read some recaps this morning that seemed to take what she told him at face value. My guess was that she just saw that his soul still belonged to Henry and lied about it so she could use the connection. But then I saw someone point out that he did have a reflection last week, so clearly she did something to him.
I sure hope we're finally getting Evil!Katrina...
So it seems like Wells is a speedster, he doesn't need the yellow longjohns, and he has a red streak, not a yellow one.
So, is Wells then really Bart (or maybe Don) Allen?
Also, his power doesn't seem to be permanent.
I sure hope we're finally getting Evil!Katrina...
Maybe she'll be more interesting like Ward or Angelus.
But then I saw someone point out that he did have a reflection last week, so clearly she did something to him.
Huh.
I sure hope we're finally getting Evil!Katrina...
And then she can die and go away?
Maybe she'll be more interesting like Ward or Angelus.
Well, it'd be hard for her to be LESS interesting...
And then she can die and go away?
So I fondly hope.
I think that they're going to do some messed up BS like Katrina ian't
evil
, she just loves her son and is trying to get him back. And then when Henry is either a)redeemed or b)shown to be irredeemable/is killed, she will repent. In the meantime, it is very clear that she is willing to do anything to get to Henry. Abbie called it when she said that she wouldn't count on a mother choosing her over her child.
I'm giving them till the finale to sort it out at this point. I want to love this show so much--I came to it late and binge-watched season 1 back in September, then sought out the good fanfic and generally got addicted. But it's been a rocky road this season. I wasn't crazy about last week's episode at all, but thought this week's was a huge improvement...and if all the gossip I've seen in various places is correct, this is the first episode where they were able to make changes after seeing from ratings, reviews, etc. just how poorly received S2 has truly been.
God, I hope they make the right changes like dumping Hawley and getting John Cho back once in a while and having Orlando on as part of team Mills/Crane.
Arrow: wow, so Annoying DJ isn't useless after all.
Also, that bar fight in Hong Kong was ridiculously fun. Ollie SLID ACROSS THE BAR with a gun.
Whatever happens with Brick, I hope he can recur periodically, because Vinnie Jones is great.
On the other hand, just when I thought they couldn't make me hate Laurel even more...
