I don't know why the angel is there. I'm 99% sure they're never gonna do the fallen-angel storyline from the comics, and even if they did, this isn't him. I've been trying to remember if this angel was ever in the original stories, but I don't recall him. The way they're writing the angels and what they can and cannot do, it doesn't seem the same as the comics anyway. I'm totally cool with deviations from the original story, I just don't see the narrative point of Constantine having his own personal ineffective angel.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Well, at least not to the extent that was reported. I've had MI:5 on my list for years but I guess I'll never get around to it now!
It doesn't say anything about Downton Abbey and I've been meaning to check it out for a while. Any idea?
It doesn't mention Black Mirror either. I assume if it's not mentioned, it wasn't ever going to be affected, so it's staying?
Anyone else watch 12 Monkeys or the second season opener of Helix?
I'm kinda meh on both, but I'll probably keep watching for at least a few more episodes.
I haven't watched any of Helix, but I did just watch the 12 Monkeys premiere. I liked it enough to stick around, or I at least liked the actors enough to stick around, especially the ones from Nikita.
Neither of those shows are BBC.
Oh! I just assume all British shows are BBC. Which is probably like assuming all American shows are NBC.
Europeans do the same thing in reverse - it's amazing how many news clips in French documentary TV shows are labeled "CBS copyright" no matter which network they actually came from.
Okay, I wouldn't have guessed CBS as our television emissary to the rest of the world.
