Also, you can tell it's not gonna have a happy ending when the main guy's all bumpy.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Oh, okay. I was unclear what the tachyon thing was doing. That makes sense. Hmmm. I'm still not totally convinced. And I don't need to be, because I'm enjoying watching it play out.

Man, Iris is so useless. Also, Barry needs to get over the whole pining-for-15-years thing.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I complained to John Rogers about conflating the sword in the stone with Excalibur, and assures me a) he knows b) most people don't care.

I CARE, JOHN, I CARE.

So the sword extracted from the stone is different from the sword that is distributed by watery tarts lying in ponds?

brillig

I think Excalibur itself originally came from the lake, and it was returned to her. I don't remember the origin of the sword in the stone.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I thought both were called Excalibur? As in, that is the name of Arthur's sword, no matter the origin.
