A ghost? What's the deal? Is every frat on this campus haunted? And if so, why do people keep coming to these parties, cause it's not the snacks.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Comic book R'as looks WAY more menacing than TV R'as. Seriously, we've seen nothing to indicate that this guy is a badass. People have talked about him, but that's sort of like saying Katrina is a badass witch on Sleepy Hollow...but then she never does anything remotely badass.

What I'm saying is, there had better be some (shirtless) badassery going on next week.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Loved Ollie's line about not being as emotionally healthy as Barry.

Made me happy.

The status is NOT quo.

I just watched the two crossover episodes and am FULL OF SQUEE. Seriously, that was the most fun I’ve had watching television in ages. Barry on the salmon ladder! Ollie saying he’s not emotionally healthy! Cisco calling it the Arrow Cave! Ollie saying Wells isn’t quite right!

So. Happy.

I am still annoyed that no one is telling Wu about Wesen, but I do appreciate it that they are playing that as if everyone kind of knows they need to do something - tell him the truth or make something up or something - but no one has had time to decide how to handle him, rather than straight up having a keep-Wu-in-the-dark agenda

I think there was something in The Flash that I meant to comment on but I seem to have lost it in my generalized glee. Oh well. It's a lot of glee.

Sleepy Hollow - my disappointment at Irving's death is mitigated by the strong suspicion that he will be back in some capacity. Contracts signed in blood aren't exactly moot when one party dies. Was fun to see him kicking ass with the sword before he got killed.

The flames wouldn't be eternal if they actually destroyed anything.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Well, we know how contracts worked on Angel.

Greatest line from Grimm this week: "So, now we know there's a reason for fruitcake."

That was pretty cute. I hope the owners of the fruitcake truck were well compensated.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Reynard knows the score, so I imagine they got paid enough not to ask any questions.

That was a really enjoyable episode, except for MORE GODDAMNED BABY DRAMA! We had like eighteen months of Adalind's pregnancy and then her constant search for the miracle baby ever since. I really wish Greenwalt would just adopt, or get a pet, or some therapy, or whatever it takes to get over the baby obsession and drop the constant baby-centric storylines on his shows.

Heh. I managed to forget that.

Oh, I wanted to say that I'm liking the theology on Constantine so far. Pretty coherent for a TV show.

Grimm: I also liked the "I don't want my mother to kill your mother," and "I don't want my mother to kill your mother, either." The show should SO have both mothers team up and fight crime, however briefly.
