A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
There is a Mr. Stretchy in The Flash's rogue gallery?! Ah well! Why wouldn't there be a stretchy guy? This show man.
I enjoyed that episode hell of a lot. Wells is doing such a terrific job walking that line between "sketchy for the sake of the good" vs. Dr. Evil Pants. And I thought he was here to *change* the future so that The Flash wouldn't vanish? But he's here to conserve that timeline, it sounds like. Huh. The fact that he let out Girder to serve as a distraction was nicely cold-blooded of him. And the Braille Room of Doom gets more interesting by the episode. Did he call it "Gideon" before? (Of course I assume this is of a major significance from comics canon). Hmmm.
And! The Clock King! I thought Felicity incapacitated his ass back in mid season 2 of Arrow. I guess they were just moving him from one prison to another? Curious as to why they'd bring him here and now, unless it was to set up for a bigger future appearance... (Robert Knepper is too big a name to serve as a secondary villain otherwise.) I really dug that it was Iris who eventually took him down, btw. And Eddie hopped on painkiller = adorable.
I was hoping that Clock King would get added to the Suicide Squad.

Elongated Man is a good guy, not a member of the rogues gallery. IIRC, the character was actually created for the Flash comics.
It would be nice to see another good-guy character who was affected by the particle accelerator. (I guess Plastique had that potential, but that didn't work out. Unless she returns, which would be cool.) (And of course Firestorm.) (I'm going to be REALLY disappointed if he doesn't show up.)

Ahhh, gotcha. And Ronnie coming back is pretty much a given. The question is *when*. Maybe in the mid season finale, after the crossover episode?
By the way, how awesome was the promo for the the crossover?! It made me do a delighted seal clap, I won't lie: [link]

I did the EXACT. SAME. THING.
Grant Gustin and Stephen Amell were so much fun to watch together in that 1 minute promo that I'm now sad they are not on the same show ALL THE TIME.
Justice Leaaaaaaaaague show.
In the Silver Age, the Elongated Man was a back-up feature in Detective Comics. He and his wife Sue Dibney were a husband and wife team patterned after Nick and Nora Charles. Only with less booze and more stretchy.
The characters did not fare well in the grim ’n gritty Modern Age of comics, hoo boy.
OK, here's the list of names:
Man, I like the idea that the particle accelerator is the origin of a good chunk of the Justice Society/League. Nice.

Ugh, Identity Crisis. Not pretty.
Sue Dibney may not have been the first woman to be fridged, but she was quite nearly the epidome of the phenom.
