Nobody can tell Marmaduke what to do. That's my kind of dog.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I did have to shake my head at Laurel's "This is all my fault" speech to Ollie. No, I think the grieving master assassin was planning to put an arrow into the man she believes murdered her girlfriend well before you told her to.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Diggle in street clothes running around with three hooded archers looked amusingly out of place.

I can dig that Ollie might need coverage because he's famous, but why does the kid need to hide his face if Diggle doesn't?

Katy Cassidy did a good job with the punching bag. I feel all warm and fuzzy and am thinking fondly of Ruby 1.0.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Decided that Trubel on Grimm should be referred to as Punky Grimmster from now on.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Constantine: “Dark Gypsy Magic”??? Really? They had to go there??

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Tom, I thought the same thing. It didn't make much sense to me, either. Why didn't she just kill her husband, why kill all those people who never hurt her too?

Along with the wife, I also don't understand what the new sidekick's motivation to stick around is. Or really what caused the minister to rediscover his faith.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

the Spider-Man reference in the car.

"That arachnid fellow" may become my preferred nomenclature.

Constantine - I'm very much enjoying how they are skirting the smoking ban.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Doctor Who: Really liking what they are doing so far, but Moffat has effed it up before so it's with some trepidation.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I am very happy where they went with this; it was the direction I was hoping for.
