A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
And oh yes, Ichabod, we forgot to mention, you can save drowning people by making out with them now. Science!
That was a really nice example of his not knowing modern stuff, to go with all the goofy ones. "...she's drowned." Step aside, man! CPR time!
I like the way Adam keeps twitting him with how young he is. He's going to have to consider magic--or Highlander Syndrome--eventually. Which will nicely upset his scientific mind. This is the first cop show I've seen in a while where the cop is disturbed by killing someone.
Upon death, your body vanishes. And a living you appears miles away.
And a NAKED living you appears ....
Which raises the question - what happens to his clothes, wallet, ID, etc., that he's carrying? I know, I know ... handwave, handwave ....
I like Forever, too. I skipped an ep, but I'm still in. So curious to see who his taunter is.
Really enjoying Flash, even though I know I'm missing all the stuff people who know Flash lore are getting. I love the way they're playing Dr. Wells.
In Forever, I was very relieved when the killer was not Adam, though I wonder why he was interested in the killings. And Dr. Henry figured out that Black Dahlia was the next murder with his own set of clues, he didn't need to have Adam give it to him.
Yeah, the Fire and Ice line made me shake my head. Enjoyed the episode, some good lines. The meteor accelerator freak was pretty cool visually and conveyed a decent threat, though I was expecting the typical Flash response of "run around him in a circle really fast to make a vortex" to defeat him, but I imagine that would get old really quick on a weekly show.
I think the difference with Ronnie is he was caught in the actual explosion rather than affected by the fallout.
Maybe I'll add Forever to the must-watch queue, it sounds more and more interesting the more I hear about it.
Forever can be summed by saying that in order to save Dr. Henry's secret from his police partner, Adam had to cut his throat so he could live another day.
It was a surprisingly gruesome episode.
So curious to see who his taunter is.
The voice sounds so very familiar, but I can't place it.
My completely unspoiled guess... and it really only struck me at a couple of points last night... is
Adrian Pasdar
.
I wouldn't bet any money, but last night's ep was the first one where anything even came into my mind. I would be fine with that!
