That's why I have them all
I do see the advisability of this over cable...which I could not do without a tv obviously.
But, I'm worried about overlapping and STILL not getting what I really want...like Doctor Who on game day!
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I keep telling myself that this is an alternate universe
Yeah, that's the only way it works for me.
But it was fun! Which is all I need. And I totally recognized Timothy Busfield, except I couldn't remember his name and kept saying, "Danny Concannon is Ben Franklin!" to my uncomprehending dog.
I think I kinda like Gotham so far. Perhaps because I actually have very little grounding in canon, but it seems to have potential, and I like the way its shot.
Sleepy Hollow made me very happy. That may be my favorite way to escape having been buried alive yet (the sheer number of times I have seen a character emerge from a grave is getting pretty high, but it's still a good time).
I wondered about the crossbow
For Kali's arrows. Whatever they are. APparently they work similarly to sanctified bullets.
I do recommend catching up on Season 1 when you get the chance, Tep. Not so you know what's going on, just because there are so many delightful moments that you just have to see for yourself. Literally addressing your "he needs some skinny jeans" comment, for example.
I think my favorite line was, "Must learn to drive."
Me, too. In part because it gave me a flash of Ichabod and Abby going on The Amazing Race.
On FB, Barb shared a clip of Ichabod in a car talking to Yolanda the OnStar woman, and it's the funniest damn thing I've ever seen. I have the DVDs on hold at the library, but so does the rest of the world. Time for a Chromecast and Hulu Plus.
Yolanda rocks.
There was also a gem (in S1) where he was talking to some woman and in the loveliest, poetic language, was giving her romantic advice. I think. My allergies are kicking my ass and my brain seems to have been booted out of circulation.
I'm very glad they haven't played romantic games between Ichabod and Abbie, though there are occasional moments when they're very aware of each other as a man and a woman. Ichabod is determined to get his wife back, so the feelings he has for Abbie are rooted in respect and comradeship. It's very refreshing.
I know I've only seen the one episode of Sleepy Hollow, but the relationship between Ichabod and Abbie reminded me of the relationship between Sherlock and Joan in Elementary.
Sleepy Hollow is a hoot and a half, but the relationship between Ichabod and Abby is just the best thing.
A super tragic thing happened in my world today (mentioned in Bitches) and, instead of binge eating, I think I'm going to splurge on hulu plus so I can watch Sleepy Hollow.
That makes sense, right?
