A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Calli, that totally sucks!

Echoing the "Franklin was Busfield?!?!?" Wow.

I want to see more of Franklin and Ichabod being pissy at each other. And Abby going "Dude, don't diss the founding father." BWAH! Yes, that would be lovely!

Although (again) seeing Ichabod with serious gun power was interesting. and Ichabod with a crossbow with a laser sight fills me with delight.

MADE. OF. WIN!!!

And yeah, Tep, that was hallucination-land. (And Daryl from TWDead TOTALLY needs to get one of those bad boys.)

Matt, didn't we also see Ichabod with an (I believe) AK-47 in hallucination-land, as well as a crossbow?

So they don't use crossbows with laser sights on the regular? Boo.

I can see me picking this up as a regular show. Gotham, NSM. (Although Jada Pinkett Smith was fabulous, and I like the Pertwee iteration of Alfred, because he seems like someone who was actually Special Forces back in the day and can kill a man with his feather duster. [Alfred's bad-ass-ed-ness is often overlooked in the various incarnations of TV/film Batman.])

Oh, there are crossbows with laser sights, for sure!

Tep, are you new to the show? Or did you watch last season, or catch a few eps?

Totally new. We watched Gotham, and then when Sleepy Hollow started, I said, "Well, we never did get the DVDs, but everyone says it's really good, so let's give it a shot." And then there were crossbows with laser sights, and much snark.

I put the first DVD on hold at the library. Though we need to get a Chromecast or Roku and subscribe to Hulu Plus, too.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I was gonna say, all of S1 is streaming on Hulu Plus. (Hulu Plus, my new post-cord-cutting best friend.)

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

May converge with interests of some buffistas. If you subscribe to Comcast/Xfinity, the On-Demand Sleepy Hollow has the entire pilot Episode off Gotham on the same (free) order - without commercials. I suspect they planned to post a trailer and instead posted the entire show. But I could bwrong'

When hulu+ says "modest ad load" what are we talking? 3 per episode or more?

Same number of ad breaks, but they're only about 30-90 seconds long (instead of 4 minutes). And some shows have a "watch this 2 minute ad right now and your show will be played without interruptions" option, which is kind of nice.

Oh my, I finally got around to watching the S2 premiere again and I really cannot emphasize strongly enough how attractive Tom Mison is when he makes that face that he makes.
