Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Oh, it had the pretty, all right. I think I would have been better off watching it with the mute button on.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

OK, this Andromeda Strain remake is pretty bad, but at least they decided to curry my favor by requiring Eric McCormack to burn up his shirt in order to save his life.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Yeah, it was pretty bad. I expected better from the Scotts.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Oh God, but that plotline totally pays for itself by creating some of the slashiest on-screen slash in recent memory. Some of Angel? Less gay.

Geez, you trying to kill me? I was drinking hot cocoa, and now... well... now I need a mop.

Art Crawl!!!

Futon Critic talks about The Mentalist.

Sounds more interesting from this than I had thought.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I liked the pilot quite a bit - the writing was VERY "pilot-y" but I think it's got potential as a pretty good procedural. (Pretty sure we wouldn't be discussing it in here as it's not SFF, just geeky.)

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Wow, that sounds good. I really like Simon Baker and the supporting cast sounds appealing as well. Unfortunately, it's scheduled against JJA's Fringe, which I also want to check out.

Art Crawl!!!

News about RDM's backdoor pilot Virtuality (I didn't know that Peter Berg was going to direct it.)

Shall I move "The Mentalist" to Procedurals?

Compassionately intolerant

I'm looking forward to seeing anything Simon Baker is in and the premise is intriguing.

The other pilot mentioned in that article reminds me of a "This American Life" segment about an all-night diner in New York that, while listening I thought...that should be a tv show. But it sounds like this rendition doesn't do the subject matter justice. Too bad.
