You know, I just... I woke up, and I looked in the mirror, and I thought, hey, what's with all the sin? I need to change. I'm... I'm dirty. I'm, I'm bad with the... sex and the envy and that, that loud music us kids listen to nowadays.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Oh, sorry. I misunderstood what you meant. The grimness is probably staying (which doesn't really bother me), but I think we might get Audrey back at some point or at least bits of her.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Yeah. I enjoyed it. And Emily Rose looks to me like she's having fun playing evil. One thing I'm afraid of: the angst when she turns good again will probably be annoying.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The main thing I got from the Teen Wolf finale was that Derek can finally turn into a full wolf, which I have been waiting for since the beginning of Season 2.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think I understood why once with Teen Wolf since season 1. Why did Lydia need to get out of the basement? Why did Derek evolve? Why didn't Peter just kill Scott himself? Why does her mother take that tone of voice? Why could Liam talk Scott down? I pause to think why Kira and then realise--why Liam or Malia? An entire count of one fight seems to have been won over the span of the season?

Jeff Davis seems to think that writing words down justifies saying them.

The one that really got me was him saying that it never occurred to him or any of the other writers to have Kira use her electricity powers when she was swinging that giant chain around against her attackers. Apparently they all forgot that she's a supernatural creature.

AFATC, she has supernatural samurai powers to wield a sword and lose every battle.

So very useful. I can't imagine why they never made it through a date.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

As I said on FB, it's pretty clear to me that the mysterious being the Doctor is afraid of is just the Faceless Old Woman Who Secretly Lives In Your House.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

While the Sheriff is looking at him like "That's insane. Who does your plans? Wile E. Coyote? Loki? John Crichton?"

OK this made me laugh so hard I think I hurt something. Just looking at it right now is making me laugh.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That episode was GREAT. Moffat may have his flaws, but he's damn good at Fear of the Unknown, and this episode was scary and clever and gave me legit emotions.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

That scene in Rupert Pink's bedroom was masterfully creepy. Loved that. I had a little trouble engaging with the ep as a whole, because of the opening monologue. On the whole, it wasn't a bad one; but seriously, there are no perfect hunters or perfect defences, and there are animals whose skill at hiding are as accomplished as any examples in the first two categories.

(Plus, where hunting is concerned, a lion - especially a solitary one - is kind of a crap example. Even as a group, their success rate is around one in three. I will forgive this, though, because of the image of a grey-haired Gallifreyan stick insect perched up a tree on the savannah, scoping out the action.)
