This screencap edit cracked me up, in light of Capaldi's work on "The Thick of It."
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I want to always watch DW on the big screen!
Really enjoyed that, and Coleman had some really great scenes that just tore me apart.
I didn't like the end, because I didn't enjoy Missy, the way she acted/was portrayed, the way she looked, the way the scene was filmed, all of the above? It wasn't an exciting peak at a possible big bad, it was annoying and kind of sucked all the joyful feeling from the rest of the ep and left me filled with dread at having to endure more annoying scenes with her.
But, moving past that: yay!
I'm losing track of what's being whitefonted? Are these unaired details?
Bonny's original whitefont was an unaired detail. My stuff wasn't, but was responding to an unaired detail, so... not really sure whether it needed to be whitefonted or not. But I will debleach one comment at least.
Are the Sylvester McCoy shows out on DVD? I'd really love to see The Happiness Patrol again.

They are! The Happiness Patrol is available in a boxed set with Dragonfire, called "Ace Adventures". (And I owns it.) Oh, The Happiness Patrol has a fascinating documentary, I think it might be 45 minutes long, about the relationship between Doctor Who and politics.
Edit: in the US it's sold separately, it seems, but it still has the same special features.

If you've got Hulu Plus, they've got tons of the old episodes.
Or your local library may be able to access it.
Hey, would you kids like some drugs? They're free and they're real nice.
How much is Hulu Plus? It may be worth it.
edit: Damn the pusher man.
$7.99 a month.
Well, crap. Josh Friedman, the showrunner behind Sarah Connor Chronicles, had another show lined up with NBC, and the network just axed it. [link]
Pity. I'm not a huge Oz fan, but I would have given it a shot, for Friedman's sake.
