I got stupid. The money was too good.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I read the first book, but I don't remember much about it. I never watched the X-Files.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I started to watch The Strain. The ick didn't bother me but I couldn't get through the pilot because the acting was so very very bad.

Just a drive by to make sure everyone knew that Orphan Black was renewed for a third season.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Just a drive by to make sure everyone knew that Orphan Black was renewed for a third season.

Christ, was that ever in doubt?!?!? I'd have to hurt somebody if it was. Possibly fatally.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I read the first book, but I don't remember much about it. I never watched the X-Files.

sj is me.

Okay, watched it tonight. Some of the acting is, as Jon noted, weak verging on painful. But I'm at least interested enough to come back next week.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Also, David Bradley. Why he isn't playing an Englishman, I have no idea.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Despite my violence squick, I'm the only one I know who wasn't at all disturbed by Home. Which itself might ought to be disturbing.

I found it pretty disturbing, but also very effective in what it was trying for. Bonus, having Mrs. Peacock in my subconscious may turn out to be useful for scaring Freddy Kreuger out of my dreams at some point.
