Now we're saving a vampire from vampires. I got two words for that -- Nuh and uh.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Orphan Black: Man, that Sarah-Helena road trip was everything I hoped for AND MORE.

Also, I love that Ms. S is all up in EVERYTHING.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Another visual recap from a few episodes back:

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

OK, I guess I've seen all of this season of Metal Hurlant on Syfy. It's not good. Heavily reliant on twist endings, and they are not that twisty. But it's fun seeing the same actors pop up again and again, and that occasionally gets used to clever effect.

I like it in a junk-food way; like eating a sugary cereal you loved as a kid, even if it isn't tasty anymore it reminds you of the enjoyment you used to get from it.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I guess for me it is a junk food cereal I did not like as a kid, and like even less now. But not a point of pride. I used to like some truly awful things as a kid.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I tuned in for the Joe Flanigan episode, but the writing was so awful I didn't seek out any of the others. It reminded me of Lexx.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am surprised by how devoted and defensive Lexx fans can be. I never watched more than any ad, and found them all unappealling. But it's almost like the fans of the final season(s) of Enterprise: "No! You should have looked!"

Maybe if it's on Instant View?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Actually, the final season of Enterprise was....never mind.

Because books.

Orphan Black: I really, really hope Cal isn't a bad guy.

Also, Allison! Oh god.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Orphan Black continues to be 1) nerve-racking, a) totally max HSQ and ?) hilarious, often in the same scene. I'm in awe of this show, and especially Tatiana.

Because books.

Yeah, right now Sarah-as-Allison is priceless.
