A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Finally caught up on Arrow.
Wasn't too thrilled with the finale. I mean, it was okay, and I liked the parallel Slade/Ollie fights and Ollie's speech to Slade at the end, but I didn't care for the Felicity/Ollie fake out and I found the "release the Suicide Squad to help us stop Waller" plan really ill-advised.
One thing I did like from the previous episode was Blood going on and on about how he was still going to fix the city after giving Ollie the Mirakuru cure and Ollie's incredulous "You think they're going to let you still be mayor after this?"
Goodbye to Warehouse 13, which went out in style. You have to admire a "clip" show where the clips are mostly new material. I'll miss the goofiness and warmth for sure, until my Eureka-shaped void is filled by a worthy show again.

Hey, me too. It didn't feel climactic. But maybe that's my level of fandom not reacting.
Today I rewatched some old Doctor Who,
The Pyramids of Mars.
The actor who did the voice of Sutekh also voiced the Devil in the new series' two-parter,
The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit.
Two excellent pieces of vocal acting.
For those who remember
Pyramids
fondly, and wondered what Sutekh got up to afterwards, the DVD includes this little extra: [link]
While I'm at it, I came across these two rankings of Doctor Who adventures. The first one just ranks the new series:
[link] This one does both new Who and old, arranged in five categories. [link] (Only one new Who is rated Disappointing, namely Fear Her.) It's not completely up-to-date, but comes close.
Pyramids of Mars--where people die from being hugged by mummies!

I'm now imagining a Pyramids of Mars/Empty Child mash-up.
It took me a moment, billy. A moment I'll never get back, a moment of innocence.

I am chastened, and seek to make amends. I bring Sutekh's gift of ocelots.
The smell of fudge! Nice.
Great to see Lena again.
Orphan Black:
Late to the commenting, but I just wanted to comment on Helena's acceptance of Sarah's calling Felix a sister. Just one second, a quick, "Sestra?", and she was on board. Then when Sarah said she couldn't kill Rachel because Felix was in trouble, the quick, "Brother Sestra?" and she was with Sarah. I was struck by her taking Sarah's word so quickly and adopting Felix into her "internal family" so quickly. Kinda crazy, very violent, but at heart she's really just a broken toy looking for somewhere to belong and someone to belong to. She just keeps getting more interesting.
And as always, Tatiana Maslany making me forget that all these fascinating, layered characters are all her...seriously effing amazing.
