Well, other bands know more than three chords. Your professional bands can play up to six, sometimes seven, completely different chords.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Mmm, that looks like a show I am going to eat up with a spoon.

Because books.

Oooh, me too. I wonder if it will take Dracula's time slot.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

It's filmed in Atlanta.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wow that looks... very Supernatural-y, not only in the subject matter

From reading the descriptions of it, it sounded like a better shot for SPN fans than Bloodlines, that's for sure. And look at the visual. Come on!

Even the title card is reminiscent of this season's.

None of which is a complaint--to the contrary, I can't wait to see if it lives up to the potential I'm forcing on them.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Damn, Mrs. S, call me Sibhion if you're nasty.

I have loved Helena almost from the very beginning and my heart breaks for her. She has been used in the most horrible ways her entire life and she is so very broken.

Is it wrong that I wish she'd skinned that bitchface girl that called her "it" and OH YEAH TRIED TO KILL HER.

Aw, dang, Paul's back in it next week. I don't know if it's the character or the actor, but damn, he is dull.

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

Two things re:OUAT

1. I suppose having Charming temporarily fall for Emma would have been a bit on the nose.

2. ZOMG I JUST WATCHED FROZEN LAST NIGHT.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

That scene between Sarah and Helena at the end was fucking powerhouse. There was so much going on there -- Helena being both the victim and the predator, the violated and an avenging angel. And Sarah being faced with her worst nightmare, who then takes on the mantle of her savior. Helena in (tattered, bloodied) white, and Sarah a column of black. That tender sisterly embrace, bloodied knife and all. Sarah weeping at the end, completely at the end of her tether. Seriously, in terms of raw visceral power, I don't know if the show has ever put on a scene to match that.

I don't think Orphan Black is eligible for Emmy's (I don't think so? It doesn't have enough American DNA), but if it was, this would be Maslany's reel.

Compassionately intolerant

I've stuck with Once Upon A Disney commercialTime until tonight.

Opening the first scene with a Mickey doll and ending with an appearance by Elsa is just too much for me.
