Every nightmare I have that doesn't revolve around academic failure or public nudity is about that thing. In fact, once I dreamt that it attacked me while I was late for a test and naked.

Almost Human has been canceled.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Less than 4 hours until Arrow. After last week, I don't even know what to expect, but I think I'm going to need an adult beverage while I watch.

Okay, that mostly felt like a big old placeholder, just waiting for the finale.

Although seeing Isabel in the Ravager outfit made me really happy.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Ehh. Too much Laurel. I mean, she's grown on me a bit and when she initially showed up at the Arrow Cave, I gave her a little cheer. But then she said stuff like "I know who you are deep in my bones" (or your bones, whatever, I guess they'd know, having boned a lot) and it just made me scoff. They keep saying how Laurel and Oliver know each other so well, etc., without really *showing* any of that on screen. Their scenes generally felt limp.

Some good Team Arrow stuff though. I loved getting a bit more of Felicity's backstory (Vegas cocktail waitress! Huh) and loved Digg and Felicity refusing to give up on Oliver despite his defeatist attitude. But yeah, this one felt like treading water a bit.

Too much Laurel.

Yup. I have no use for her.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I am finally caught up to Arrow. My brief reactions:

I like S1 better than S2, but the last few eps of S2 have had great energy. I feel like S2 pacing was a bit slow the first half of the season or so. And they seem to be re-writing history some.

I am pretty disturbed with the actress who plays Laurel and what was done to her character in S2. She doesn't look right - and I suppose that goes with her storyline of alcoholism, but she has looked like a red hot wreck all season. I was rooting for her last season, now I kind of want her to die.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Felicity is the BEST. I also loved her crying at Moira's wake *and* trash-talking the hell out of her at the same time. And having total geekgasms over ARGUS's tech!

So, it never occurred to me that Slade's "one more" that had to die referred to Oliver -- I just took it for granted it would be someone Oliver loved, not Oliver himself. I guess for obvious meta reasons since Oliver can't die? But also I feel like in-show, Slade had someone else in mind. I automatically assumed he meant Sara, but maybe not?

I think he has someone else in mind, too. And I suspect that it's going to be Sara or Laurel (or, at an extreme outside possibility, Felicity), because I think he wants to kill someone Ollie loves romantically, because that's "equal" in his mind to Shado dying.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Me, too. I kept telling Oliver he was being a little dense thinking it's him all episode. And I was thinking Sara also, both to parallel his losing Shado and because she was the one Oliver chose to live.
