A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
The only way I could buy Laurel as Black Canary would be if next season begins with, "After five years on a hellish island, Laurel Lance...."
I think part of the problem with the pacing of this episode was the "Ollie got a girl pregnant" flashbacks. The flashbacks usually relate to the current action, but those were inert lumps in the middle of lots of action. They didn't really illustrate that a mother will do anything for her child. They showed Moira's usual parenting skills of throwing money at the problem, lying and not making her children take responsibility.
My wild guess is that the baby's mother is Iris West or her sister.
We could have a long revenge training montage with Laural and her mother...
Laurel Lance ... shouldn't she move to Metropolis and get together with Superman?
Clark's One True Love is LL -- just not that one.
Mrs. S does not fuck around. Jesus.

Anyone watching Metal Hurlant Chronicles? Would you recommend it?
I haven't been watching it, but now that I know it's an anthology show I've decided to start. I think I can catch the already aired episodes On Demand (in my copious free time, but whatever, there's free space on my DVR).
Wait, February, like two months ago? Dang, that is fast.
I like the idea of bringing in another Grimm that knows even less than Nick, I think.

Your question motivated me to watch it as my workout TV last night. Worst writing i've seen in a SyFy series in a long time. Does anyone remember a comic years ago, translated from the French. Amazing graphics, mostly awful writing (with very few exceptions)? Heavy Metal? Well the writing is like bad imitation Heavy Metal, makes the writing for the comic book seem like Tim Minear by comparison. Except, unlike Heavy Metal , Metal Hurlant is not that visually stunning. My advice don't waste your time. The writers on Metal Hurlant could take lessons in character development and plot logic from the writers of Lost Girl. Yeah, MH is that bad IMO. They do choose pretty people, but if you want to seem pretty people in badly written roles there are plenty of other choices.
