Catching up on old Arrows. I adore that a hoodie is explicitly considered a full disguise in the world.
Glory ,'The Killer In Me'
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
And just that fast, the fatal flaw of the hoodie disguise is exposed. (As is Oliver.)
Heh. After Thea told Ollie he was the only one that didn't keep secrets from her, as she was walking away I thought to myself "Hey, Thea's my favorite. I kinda want her and Slade to run away together somehow, based entirely on them both being my favorites". So that last scene made me laugh inappropriately.
There was a reference to the corner of Gail and Simone.
I caught that!
I can't remember if I've posited this theory here yet, so let me throw this out.
In the comics, a reboot or two ago, Ollie was mayor of Star City: [link]
I've been saying since Moira threw her hat in the ring that she'll win but then get killed or kidnapped or otherwise unable to serve, and -- I can't figure out the logistics of this, but it's my guess anyway -- Ollie will end up as mayor.
I noticed in the opening credits last night there was a shot of Ollie introducing Moira at a candidate event, where he's standing behind a podium with a sign that says QUEEN FOR MAYOR. And I thought, "That has got to be the biggest foreshadowing on the planet."
I just can't decide if I want to be right or not. I'd really like to see Moira as mayor.
Arrow QUOTD:
Huntress: "Ollie really does love to dress up his girls."
Fucking hell, Lost Girl. Not on.
Fucking hell, Lost Girl. Not on.
I'm hoping it is somehow not permanent.
Hm. Perhaps.
Meanwhile, it is pissing me off anyway.
If they have to kill off a character, I'd prefer it be Bo. Or Vex.
Characters that I like are dying all over the place. Now I'm really worried about the season finale of The Walking Dead tomorrow....
