A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
::averting my eyes from what I assume is Arrow talk until I catch up on that::
Almost Human is really finding its voice, right? Fine episode this week. Good scifi, good mystery. I'm even interested in the father thing.
Being Human, otoh, seems to be consistently making the most boring possible narrative choices. So meh.
Almost Human is really finding its voice, right?
I'm a fan. On a crowded Monday night schedule I'll give it preferential treatment.
Yeah, the plot lines of the episodes themselves are kind of dull, or when they do bring up interesting questions, they tend to rapidly retreat from them. But I still thoroughly enjoy the Dorian and Kennex relationship and the world-building.
I thought this latest plot was pretty good.
I felt that the season ended very abruptly, but the world building is definitely growing on me. I hope it gets renewed.
That was a season finale? Huh.
Grimm:
Poor Wu.
I hope he is up and wisecracking soon.
Just me, DCJ, or were you beyond pissed at Nick for not telling Wu?
I was all hurrah for a Sgt Wu (Drew Wu?!) episode. He is clearly the hardest-working uniformed cop in Portland.
Woo, caught up on Arrow!
I *really* didn't need to see Slade's eye socket.
I kinda did. Apparently. That was nifty.
I thought Ivo's wife saying she used to have a husband was her being mad at him, but the way he was reacting made it seem more like confusion. A combination of the two, maybe.
Vonnie, I LOVE how this show is shot. So many scenes manage to look like comic book spreads come to life and that is my favorite thing to see.
