A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I agree, Quentin needs to figure it out soon. Or if Ollie does end up telling him, his reaction being "Right. Tell me something I don't know." I just don't see why Ollie would feel inclined to tell him at this point.

Another thing I liked was that Ollie and Digg had their backs turned while Felicity had her shirt off. It just felt right for the characters and their relationship. It will be interesting to see if as the show progresses the three of them reach a more practical warrior/medic mentality about those things. (Though that would likely mean poor Felicity getting more scars.)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Didn't Quentin have it figured out last season, and then Ollie had Diggle do something while Ollie was with Quentin? I'm not remembering the details, but it's the only excuse I can think of for why Quentin hasn't figured it out yet.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

He saw Ollie on a security tape, grabbing the bag with his Arrow gear that he had stashed earlier. But Ollie planned that so that he could divert attention from himself -- he even said, "I come back to town, and suddenly there's a vigilante; eventually the police will realize that's not a coincidence" (paraphrasing). And then while he was under house arrest, Diggle went out in the hood and busted some criminals, so it looked like there was no way it could be Ollie in the hood.

So yeah, Quentin did explicitly rule Ollie out, but, again, he's been working in close physical proximity to the Arrow all season -- within arms' reach several times, and not always in low light.

I actually would like Ollie to out himself to Quentin, and have Quentin respond with, "I've known for months. How unobservant do you think I am? I'm a detective." Like, NBD, you're the hood guy. Let's fight crime.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

The Quentin not knowing is the only thing that is bothering me- not only is he RIGHT next to him, and knows Felicity works for both, his daughter Sara is "dating" Oliver Queen and running around as a superhero with The Arrow. And Laurel and Oliver have a past, and The Arrow was close to Laurel as well.

The other "staining credulity" things I can handwave because of the world of the show, but I can't believe that a detective would not have figured this out by now!

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Wait, I thought The Flash's costume was red? Unless that's just the lighting. It's certainly a better disguise than Oliver's for sure.

It looks dark red to me, in that lighting.

This pilot is shooting in my neighborhood today. It's written by the guy who wrote the Transformers sequels. I have sufficently low expectations.
