Salmon ladder? I don't watch the show, but is that a piece of plywood hung vertically with wooden dowels attached to it, and he hangs by his fingers and then pops up one to the next?

If so, that's a campus board. Don't know why, that's the name. Commonly seen in climbing gyms, although I've never been strong enough to use one.

Salmon ladder is what parkour runners, crossfitters and Ninja Warriors call that apparatus.
