When the Horseman showed up, I was all "Hey, I'm the Headless Horseman. Remember me?"
In Abby's purgatory, I was expecting the guys to say "Ichabod Crane? Like in that Washington Irving story?"
Actually, when Katrina was taking forever to spit out why she couldn't leave Purgatory and go back to the present-day Sleepy Hollow with them, I kind of expected her to take a deep breath and say "Because, dear Ichabod, I died hundreds of years ago and my body is but bones and dust. You take me back and there won't be anything there."
the first part of the episode dragged like crazy, but boy, pay attention for those last 15 minutes! And take notes!

That was one HELL of a finale!
Katrina's traded purgatory for being hauled off by her former fiance, now headless and evil (instead of merely arrogant and clueless). And she's still in that dress ... girl can't win.
I hope she gets to stay in modern times after they rescue Abbie. I want her embracing modernity with the same enthusisam Ichabod is rejecting it. (Pants! Short hair! iPhone!)
Speaking of modernity, have we all seen this list?
