Teen Wolf, the mention of were-coyote made me think of the Mercy Thompson series and wonder yet again why no one has tried to turn it into a television show.
The first 3 books have been optioned for film.
'The Girl in Question'
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I didn't realize that.
Lots of things get optioned and nothing comes of it, though.
So no Arrow talk, huh?
I thought the episode was okay, though I'm really more interested in figuring out if that was a differently-masked Deathstroke or if that was Sportsmaster we saw in the preview for next week. It had a hockey-mask vibe going on, though it looked like it was two-toned.
I was left kind of "meh" on the episode. I figured out Blood's "aunt" was really his mother about 30 seconds before Laurel did.
I know flashback!Slade was injected with super-serum and came back from the dead (or almost-death) (which is still partly alive) (I had to say that), but he looked like he had a makeover in this episode. It was disconcerting.

I didn't even think about Sportsmaster! I assumed it was present-day Slade/Deathstroke.

I was in the same boat. I kept thinking "He looks different. Why does he look different?" Apparently nearly dying and getting injected with super-serum resulted in a new haircut, a clean face and a much more neatly-trimmed beard.
Also, on the subject of the super-serum, I have to shake my head everytime they say "Mirakuru". I highly doubt the WWII-era Japanese would name their super-soldier program using an English word. (Seriously, it's just how you would pronounce the world "miracle" after writing it in kanji.)
In non-Arrow news, did we know Gina Carano was going to be on Almost Human? [link] Not trying to be mean, but killer robot seems to be a perfect role for her.
The mask on the villain in preview? It was two-toned, orange and black, like we saw in the Island. I just assumed it was Deathstroke.
The baddie-of-the week was sorta underwritten, although Sean Maher did well enough with what he's been given. It was nice seeing Laurel be more proactive. Compared to the rollercoaster this show's been on for several ep, this one was a bit of a breather, but I didn't mind. Predictably, Tumblr is having a meltdown from the shoulder-touching. Heh.

I did, actually, for a split second, think Ollie was moving in for a kiss out of the blue.
Hence the meltdown!
I did get a bit gooey in the center when Oliver called her "his partner". And telling her that Barry might be dreaming of her was a really sweet thing to say.

That was MADE OF AWESOME.
