I had to look up the ages of Barrowman and the guy playing his son. Which, if you want me to believe Barrowman's the father, cast someone less youthful-looking than Barrowman.
Not that I'm not happy to see him getting work. We're around ep 18 of the first season, and it's like the greatest hits of Canada, plus Manu Bennett.

Someone (I think it was the Onion AV Club) pointed out that in the comics, time flows differently in Nanda Parbat, so it's possible Malcolm Merlyn didn't age at all during his training. Still doesn't quite make the age difference make sense, though.
I can easily imagine that Nick would rather sleep on the couch than in the guest room.
I think I might be watching Dracula to try to figure out why I am still watching Dracula at this point. There is not actually much I like about it, and so much that is stupid and/or annoying.
