And the thing is, I like my evil like I like my men: evil. You know, straight up, black hat, tied to the train tracks, soon my electro-ray will destroy metropolis BAD.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Oh, dear.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Hah! That was pretty funny.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I have to say, while In the Loop is awesome, The Thick of It is about 1000x better. Just in my opinion.

Punishingly Intricate

I concur. Although, it was sometimes incomprehensible to me due to my limited familiarity with how English gov't works. Also, I always have to use subtitles!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

You say that like people shouldn't just watch both. And also Veep. (MOAR SWEARING YAY.)

Definitely watch both! I was just seeing a lot of In The Loop talk and not enough The Thick of It talk.

Also, Tom is so weird about Veep, for some reason that makes him cringe-y/watch from the hall in a way the British stuff does not. I suspect it's because of a lack of Malcolm Tucker.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I could not deal with Veep.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

VEEP was way too watch from the hall for me. I could only manage a couple episodes before I had to give up on it.

Grimm: If Nick and Juliet have a guest room, why was Nick sleeping on the couch all those months?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The writers actually addressed that question on twitter. The sofa was the show, not tell option. I can find the actual tweet when I'm not posting from the phone.
