I just started watching Sleepy Hollow and am on episode 3. I really like it, but are there ranches there. It was such a weird thing to say- how about farm?

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Heh, Sophia. Just wait until you get to the Spanish Moss on the trees.
Oh dear. The other thing that is confusing me is if there is a "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" story in this universe, so that people know who Ichabod Crane is, or if that just doesn't exist.
That bugged me too at first - someone here pointed out that this show is The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, so no, in this version there's no pre-existing story.
Sophia-- I just assume the whole thing is happening in an alternate universe where it all makes sense, because the stuff they do to history shouldn't be legal in 37 states.
I kind of gave up on expecting anything resembling realism ... oh, about 15 minutes into the first show. Handwavium for everyone!
That the cast is clearly having fun with the whole thing really helps.
And yeah, Alternate Earth.
Although there seems to be some bleed-over from the Fringe universe lately...
Y'all, Alexis Denisof on Grimm. (I'm a week behind so you probably already know this.) He's in Dark Wesley mode, if he'd been suborned by the Council.
Is it worth watching just for him?
I would say - not yet. I assume his part will get bigger and reach some its awesome potential but it's mostly just an exciting prospect so far.
