Me too. Tom Baker was my childhood Doctor in PBS syndication. (Context helped a lot, though - it was clear that he was a classic Doctor, so it was just a matter of picking from a very small list to remember which one.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
He was my childhood Doctor in real time, and my first ventures into proto-fandom were on his watch, so he's etched onto my eyelids. He just looked like an old version of my favourite Doctor, since I don't think I've seen much of him since then.
