'Objects In Space'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thing about Tracey Scoggins, what else is there to do with her other than see her in her panties? Watch her act?

She did passably well on Lois & Clark as Lois' shallow, man-hungry co-worker and rival for Clark's affections. That role seems to be within her wheelhouse, though tough authoritative military commander is not.

I remember her most from Highlander, in which she was atrocious, and Dynasty, where you'd think she'd be able to flex the muscles you mention. But she sucked there too. Maybe she just hadn't developed them yet.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I actually lost an email-friend over her performance in Highlander. He thought she was the sexiest prettiest wonderfullest thing ever, and I thought her character sucked and so did her portrayal of same. I wasn't even mean about it! He got so offended, and offered up the possibility that there was something wrong with me that I couldn't see her awesomeness. Shortly after that we stopped talking.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

We'll back you up, Zen. She was, in fact, terrible in Highlander.

She was SO BAD. Mainly I remember laughing at her ridiculous fake nails. Yeah, they had acrylic nails in the Bronze Age. It's too bad, I loved the Methos-backstory storyline she was part of.

Did they have the mousse and hairspray that would have been needed for her customary big 80s do as well?

Matt, I just assumed she was using one of the many natural big-hair-creating hair products available to the historical woman, such as marshmallow glue, lime water, or bull semen.

brillig

I'm always impressed at the personal hygiene regimens maintained in Walking Dead and other apocalyptic shows.

So you're saying the flashbacks with her were basically There's Something About Mary Magdalene ?
