Ooo, Epic, you're right!
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Oooh. Cause that seemed like such a random thing to have changed.
I never would have caught it if you guys hadn't highlighted the number. 144,000 doesn't seem that big if you're used to 3 million.
Epic, excellent deduction!
Trudy, I was JUST about to post that link! Hidden things are hidden.
I'm watching the first couple of episodes of The Tick, and I'd forgotten how awesomely funny it was. Apocalypse Cow! Giving Jimmy Carter a concussion! Patrick Warburton's adorable blue antennae!
I just saw an ad for SyFy's "Helix" which premieres in 2014. I didn't know/forgot that Ron Moore is behind this program. My enthusiasm for the show has just dropped precipitously. The ad also didn't make the show look very good.
Man.
Javi is also on it, though, so I may check it out.
Sleepy Hollow, a small town of 144,000 (perhaps they're counting the dead-but-still-walking-around, the dead-but-in-a-kind-of-purgatory, and ghosts, as well as the horsement) in the State of Handwavia.
So I saw the first two episodes of Sleepy Hollow yesterday. Still not quite sure why everyone loves it so much, but it was moderately entertaining.
Except then we watched the entire run of The Tick (Live action version), and I nearly died laughing.
The Tick is such an amazing show (both versions). While I've enjoyed what Ben Edlund's added to Angel and Supernatural, I wish he'd get back into full-on comedy, especially with some genre trappings.
(Maybe he could join Sleepy Hollow? A girl can dream.)
