You're right. He's evil. But you should see him naked. I mean really!

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I was thinking about that! But he's going to look so different without his vintage threads!

Me too - though I wasn't thinking the coat would be a problem, I was wondering if there'd been a side trip to Target that we didn't know about for new "small clothes" & stockings, and where they might get a new foofy shirt (short of costumers & reenactors), 'cause even after only a day or so, those would become pretty important, I'm thinking. I would, however be very sad at the loss of either the coat or the boots.

I liked his "try not to be such an easy target" to Abby.

That was awesome.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Does anyone have any opinions on The Tomorrow People?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I just discovered it's a Phil Klemmer joint endorsed by Diane Ruggiero, so that bodes well, although I won't be checking it out because I can't handle more shows.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Apart from the earworm? I actually know nothing about it and would appreciate a Buffista opinion or three.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I watched the original Thames series on Nickelodeon in the 80s. I don't remember much about it.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I own a soundtrack CD of the original series. Great weird electronic stuff from the same folks who did the original Dr. Who music.

Theo & Tom summarize me neatly. i.e., Sounds interesting, set the DVR, see what happens.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Scola,

a tv critic said it was one of the better new tv series. That is the ONLY reason why I'm watching it. The ads make it look sketchy as hell.

I saw my first Almost Human poster yesterday, and oh, please let this not suck. Urban is clearly a friend of the people and deserves great success, and who doesn't want to look at Michael Ealy? Lili Taylor? Other people who are probably very nice and I care much less about right now?

Exactly.

I do remember hearing scathing things about the premise, but little on the actual show itself. Any facts or opinions?
